Nauplii hatched from the cysts provide one of nature’s finest nutritious foods for tiny shrimp and fish. Hatching Instructions: 1. Use a clear plastic or glass bottle for small quantities. For larger quantities use a 10-55 gal. (38208 L) fibreglass tank. 2. Use clean sea water or artificial salt water with a specific gravity of 1.01 to 1.02. 3. The optimum pH is 7.5-8.5. If necessary, add an alkaline solution made from soda ash or sodium sulfate to raise the pH. 4. During hatching, use sufficient aeration to keep all eggs in circulation at all times. 5. The optimum hatching temperature is 28-300C.
