Description
Hydrocotyle tripartita or three-part water pennywort exudes girlish charm thanks to flower-shaped leaves! This creeping, slightly overhanging and fast-growing species is one of the most popular decorative plants in aquascaping. Tastefully placed and trimmed, it is reminiscent of either wildly climbing shrubs or dense ground covers in enchanted gardens. With strong lighting and regular CO2 additions, it develops magnificently. Pruning is necessary, otherwise it will take over the aquarium – a wild bit of nature. Otherwise it is quite undemanding; it can also give a lot of pleasure when grown emersely!
