Suitable for fresh water and Marine. Filter Media is not a part of the Standard Package. Canister filters are very easy to install and maintain. You need not clean this as frequently as you clean the Top filter or internal filters. Frequent opening and closing might damage the O ring or otherwise known as Gasket.
